Description: We are offering 4 vintage postcards from sunny Florida, the vacation capitol of the world. These are from my grandparents' collection from their travels. I know they went to Florida in 1953 so I think these cards are from that trip but they could be older judging by row of cars on the Green Benches postcard. One is labeled: On the green benches St. Petersburg, Fla The Sunshine City. Another card is titled Beautiful Memorial Causeway, Connecting Clearwater, Fla. with its Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Another shows the Knowles Motel at 1585 S. Ft. Harrison, Clearwater Fla. The last is labeled: Way Down Upon The Suwannee River In The Sunshine State, Florida and it shows several canoes on the wild part of the well-known Suwannee River. Fascinating views of life in much simpler times, about 70 years ago! These cards are in excellent vintage condition with no rips, tears, folds or creases. Minimal edgewear. All are unposted, unstamped and are not written on.
