Sewn-on 3/4" brass rings. Beautifully hand-stitched. In 1938, a young French family boarded the Île de France and sailed to the US to avoid the expected enemy invasion. They brought many of their treasured possessions. They were laundered and carefully folded, packed into a trunk with satin sachets tucked in where they remained until this year. We are offering them just as they were found. (There is a fragrance due to the sachets, so if you are sensitive to scents we recommend that you pass this by.). One panel has some stains and discoloration, which would likely not be noticed in the busy calico pattern. We haven't laundered them.Please see our other listings for similar items in same fabric.
