Chisels & Planes and other items which need sharpening, should be purchased on the assumption they will need honing, even if this is not the case. Each person's opinion varies on sharpness and condition, so no mention is made of their sharpness, hence, assume they need to be honed. If you have failed to look at the photo's correctly, this is down to the buyer and no returns will be accepted for something that is obvious on the enlarged photo's.
