Description: Offered is a group of 4 different real photo postcards from Tampa Florida. The four cards all focus on the Oscar Daniels Shipbuilding Company. Three images show prep and launch of the Byron D Benson. The other card shows the T J Williams. Three images are by photographer P C Moulton. All have his name embossed along the bottom. The cards show the ship in dry-dock, 20 minutes before she was launched and just sliding into the water. The Williams card shows the ship still in dry-dock. Byron Benson was a steam tanker that was sunk during WWII. The "T. J. Williams" was also a tanker launched in 1921 and was torpedoed and sunk 19 September 1941, near Iceland with no casualties. All cards have AZO stamp boxes. Unused and clean. The cards have a light curl. Sold together.
