Description: Myott Fine Staffordshire FORGET ME NOT Four 6-1/8" Bread & Butter Plates, Blue Flowers, England, ca. 1950s A nice set of 4 vintage bread and butter plates from Myott, Staffordshire, England. The pattern is called "Forget Me Not" with sprays of tiny blue flowers. The plates measure 6-1/8 inches wide across the swirled rim (not the 6-1/4 inches I generally see listed). These four small plates are in fair to good condition. There are no chips or cracks on any of the plates. But the plates have heavy craze lines to the surface, and some faint signs of browning beginning to develop (generally toward the center of the plate). See closeup photos for examples. The plates have a detailed mark that reads "Myott | England | "Forget Me Not" | M970 P.U. | Fine Staffordshire Ware." There are also green decorator or production marks.
