Description: Very hard to find these as a set, often these chairs are only found as strays. Usually these are misattributed to Warren Platner, though less frequently to Umanoff or Baughman. Regardless they are actually a sound design and a sought after set. Expressive and shapely designed chrome dining chairs have the characteristics of Platner's sculptural aesthetic. Each chair is created by welding steel rods to semi-circular sculptural frames, simultaneously serving as structure and ornament. Seat and upper back are upholstered in a grey wool in need of some further cleaning but likely a full reupholstery. The foam of the seat has softened beyond comfort and needs to be replaced so you can choose your own color and material for the upholstery at the same time.
