Description: 4 serigraphs on masonite by Mark Coomer. Recognized & accomplished artist in his life span and beyond. (1914 - 2004). I believe these were from his New Orleans Porch series. Each is 12" by 9" on a thick piece of masonite board. Each signed in the image. ------ minor scratches on 2(see last 2 photos), minor soiling around outer edges -outside of image, otherwise like new, never framed. Stored away in a box for the last 50-70 years. I purchased 27 of these at a recent Estate Sale of an elderly person. These were found stored in the attic in a cardboard box, stacked together with nothing to separate one from the other, so there are a few minor scratches on some. Since they were stored away from light, the colors are as bright and vivid as the day they were made.------------ I will be listing others in groups over the next few days. Serigraph’s were hand made by Mark Coomer on silk screens and printed by hand on pressed wood called "Masonite" in permanent oil paints and some were issued on thick paper boards. No photography, film or mechanical means used in creating these works of art.
