Description: Porzellanfabrik Marktredwitz Jaeger & Co., J&C BavariaSet of 4 Dessert Plates6" Hand Painted Blue Forget-Me-Nots ca. 1910s A set of four lovely hand-painted small pie or dessert plates from Porzellanfabrik Marktredwitz, Jaeger & Co. (mark used between 1898 to around 1923, in Bavaria, Germany; see the "porcelain marks and more" website for a full description). The four plates have a delicate design of blue hand-painted forget-me-not flowers on a pale blue border with two gold bands. The three clusters of flowers are slightly different on each plate, and have light details in pink and green. The center is a light pastel ivory color. The plates measure 6 inches wide across the rim. They are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold trim shows very little wear around the outer edges, and the painted designs are nicely colorful and intact. All four plates are marked on the base with a green flower logo for "J & C / Bavaria." There is also a gold decorator's mark with initials that look like MJS and the date '19.
