Description: 4 Franciscan EL PATIO Gladding McBean tumblers mugs with wood handle metal band Franciscan El Patio mugs were produced by Gladding-McBean (GMcB) from 1934 - 1954. The dinnerware line was first launched in 1933 at their Glendale, California plant, which was previously owned by Tropico Potteries. El Patio is considered one of the most important California colorware lines of the 1930s. Each of the four mugs is in very admirable condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. They stand 3 3/4" tall with a 2 7/8" mouth diameter.
