This company and its principals are a case study of the challenges faced trying to found a startup company when the American Brilliant Cut Glass movement was in its heyday. The publication contains the fresh-to-us design drawings of the firm’s foreman and designer, one William Warren Winchester. He was a talented cutter and designer, who at one point in his career after being trained in the Corning, NY shops worked for Libbey at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Reprinted in 2010.
