This listing is for three unrooted cuttings with at least 2-segments as shown in the last photo. Gorgeous reddish pink blooms that usually flower towards the end of December. The mother plant is special to me because it was rooted from a cutting my grandmother (who is deceased now) gave me years ago. The mother plant is at least 35 years old. Once rooted, the new plants should flower within a year and they grow fairly fast. The cuttings may arrive with signs of stress after they arrive (yellowing leaves, bruises, drooping, etc.) - this is normal. Give them a chance to acclimate to their new environment in a place with medium light for a couple of days - then go ahead and start them with the instructions below, or your preferred method. Instructions for rooting:Add moistened well-draining potting soil to small pots with drainage holes, one pot for each cutting.Insert the lower segment of each cutting into the soil about 1/2" and firm the soil around it. Set the pot in an area that receives bright indirect sunlight.Keep the soil moist but not wet. In 6-8 weeks they should root and begin growing. Holiday cactus usually roots well without the aid of a rooting hormone, but you can use it to speed the process if desired.
