WHITE SPOTS AND STREAKS ARE REFLECTIONS AND GLARE FROM THE LIGHTING. Measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 7/8ths of an inch high. BLUE HERON CHINA crest on the bottoms. No cracks, chips, gouges or stains. I find some light surface scuffs commensurate with light use, cleaning and storage. This unique and well-composed set of plates is clean, bright and ready for service and display.
