Description: The Toyota 2000GT is a limited-production front engine, rear-wheel-drive, two door, two seat grand touring sports car, designed by Toyota and powered by a 2.0l OHC engine. First displayed to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1965, they immediately went racing and took their first win in the inaugural Suzuka 1000 Kilometres in 1966. In 1967, it won the inaugural Fuji 24-Hour Endurance Race, held at the Mount Fuji Speedway on April 8, 1967. In addition, the car set thirteen FIA world records for speed and endurance. This car was even raced by none other than the late great Carol Shelby in SCCA CP class competition.
