Description: Two original production drawings in graphite of Stitch from the Disney animated feature Lilo & Stitch (2002). These rough animation drawings were created by a Disney animator in development of the following scene: Stitch shakes Lilo awake in bed to show her The Ugly Duckling book from the 40:21 time mark. These paired drawings show Stitch's head on one sheet and his arm on a second sheet. A screenshot and comparison of the relevant frame from the film is included for reference, as are multiple images of the two drawings overlaid (noted as such on each relevant image). On two untrimmed sheets of 12.5" x 15.5" 5-peghole animation paper. Original art from this film is scarce. Lilo & Stitch was made with hand-drawn animation and hand-painted backgrounds, and thus was one of the last of its kind. VERY FINE condition, with light handling from the animation process. The items will be shipped with robust packaging to fully protect them during transit.
