Description: The Wittek Company manufactured the clamps used on the Ford Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, the Mercury Cougar 1967 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. Wittek clamps were manufactured in Chicago, Illinois. There simply is no substitute. These were forged and stamped in Chicago at the Wittek Manufacturing Plant in March, 1987.
