This is a Half Pitch DB50 (2 rows of 25 pins) male to male, so it is ideal for adapting female interfaces to link units. As seen in the pictures, this cable has a resistor on each end to prevent any overload from damaging all the networked devices (not like cheap cables wired directly from one pin to the other device's pin with no protection).
