This lot of rarer gems have a very exceptional face-up appearance with a very gemmy appeal. Super golden flashes asthey are orientated around. It's definitely one of my personal favorites Bytownite is a rare variety of Feldspar named for deposits found in Bytown, Canada (now Ottawa). Some forms of this gem distinctly resemble the gemstone Andalusite, another member of the Feldspar Group. These feldspars are rarely encountered in gem form. Their occurrence is widespread throughout the world, in a great variety of rock types and environments, but in most cases, transparent crystals are rare.
