Our X-Pipe features 1.5mm thick piping in 304 stainless steel that is brushed and then slightly polished. This offers a more finished look over flat brushed. Each pipe is mandrel bent to avoid any restrictions in flow. We cut each pipe using precision machinery and then debur before fully TIG welding. To keep the pipes from having a burned look around the welded area, we avoid double welding. Instead, we overlap more welds on one pass to increase the strength. Each X-Pipe will have a different oxidated color to the welds due to the chromium content in 304, giving each of our X-Pipes a one of a kind look. Lightweight brackets have also been TIG welded between both pipes to completely eliminate stress on the center weld during shifting.
