V6 clone hotend for direct-drive extruder NOT FOR BOWDEN CONFIGURATION Installation typically requires custom printer modifications - please understand what will be required before purchasing. You need to be comfortable fabricating/printing custom mounts for the hotend, wiring your controller board, etc. If you have any doubts about your ability to do this, please do not purchase. This kit includes: a standard direct-drive 1.75mm V6 / "J-Head" style hotend including 24V heater, fan, and 0.4mm nozzle.one all-metal throat. The installed heatbreak/"throat" is PTFE lined, which is great until you want to print materials which require a higher temperature than the PTFE can handle. We provide all-metal stainless steel replacements so you can use whichever you prefer (the metal heatbreak is what makes one of these an an "all metal hotend'). We have used some of this batch of hotends ourselves and they've been great. QC on E3D clones has a reputation for being hit or miss, mostly due to machining quality of the aluminum parts.
