About the Souvenir Sheet:This issue consists of a souvenir sheet with three stamps, the ones representing the palaces that sheltered and shelter the Brazilian Senate since its creation in the Empire to the current times. Each stamp depicts one of those buildings: Conde dos Arcos Palace, Monroe Palace and National Congress Palace. As background, the illustration of the National Congress, highlighting the Senate dome, irradiating curving lines in order to make the texture. The blue shades bring the reference to the Senate color, along the orange spot ink, complementary to blue, highlighting parts of each palace, having a gain in its highlight due the varnish. The souvenir sheet makes a set with the 200 Years of the First Brazilian Constitution souvenir sheet, having the same size, number of stamps, face value and the particular micro perforation at the bottom side. The technique was vectorial illustration.
