20s 30s Evening Gown Sz S Vintage Black Bias Cut Rayon Crepe Lace Long Dress

Description: DESCRIPTIONThis is a lovely vintage evening gown from the late 20s - early 30s. The material is a rayon crepe that is black. The material isn’t exactly stretchy, but it has a bias cut, so it does have some give. The dress has a high collar with lace trim and a ruffle of lace on the chest. There are two large black buttons with rhinestones accenting the neck. The dress has long sleeves made out of sheer lace, and there is braided black soutache trim on the sleeves as well. The dress closes with three buttons at the back of the neck as well as metal snap buttons down the left side seam. SIZING There are no size tags on the dress, but I believe it would best fit a size Small. The actual measurements are as follows:Bust: 17.5-18.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (35-37 inches around) Waist: 13.5-14.5 inches across (27-29 inches around) Hips: 18-19 inches across (36-38 inches around) Length: 60 inches Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. CONDITION This dress is in very good vintage condition. I did notice a tiny pinhead hole by the right hip (see picture) as well as a couple similar holes near the hem. I also noticed just a bit of wear to the fabric on a tiny section of the waist seam (see picture). There is a little lip of fabric here, so the seam itself is intact. I noticed on the plastic buttons that the plastic is chipped a little near a couple of the rhinestones (see picture), but all the rhinestones are still present. These are all minor flaws. The dress is gorgeous and definitely still wearable as is! Please feel free to ask any questions about this item before bidding.
