Description: 2019 Topps Now Review #TN-9 Mike TROUT Albert PUJOLS Shohei OHTANI Homer in Same Game SHORT PRINT (SP) LA Angels NOTE 1: READ THE DESCRIPTION This is an original 2019 card with a REPRODUCTION/REPRINT of a signed Topps Now card . You CAN'T BUY an authentic Ohtani autograph for less than $400. Before you hit that button, READ the description. Ask questions. Three likely Hall of Fame players on one card. The 2019 Topps Now Review card numbered TN-9. It is a very limited short print, (SP), insert/paralell card. The "autographs" are just PICTURES of autographs. But...this is an inherently RARE card. On this card, Shohei Ohtani joins sure bet HoF members Mike Trout and Albert Pujols on Topps' 2019 reproduction of their iconic 2018 card. Make NO mistake, this is an original 2019 card with a reproduction/reprint of a signed Topps Now card commemorating July 25, 2018, when The "Big O", Trout and Albert all homered in the same game. The original 2018 Topps Now card that is pictured on this 2019 Topps card is likely $10,000 or so on the open market, if you can find one, (here's one!!! eBay Item #275838801135, only $85k)...but here, right now, you can have this puppy for significantly less. This very same 2019 card has sold on eBay, (in July 2021, when Ohtani was SCALDING hot), for as much as $640, (eBay item #363458013632). 2023 ended and Ohtani led the AL in Home Runs and was one of the league's best pitchers. He is the only player in MLB history to win the MVP award TWICE, unanimously. He recently signed the largest contract in the history of professional sports and is now a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers. When the 2022 season closed, and Ohtani doubled down and SURPASSED his historic, record-breaking 2021 season. No...not as many home runs, but his pitching stats are leaps and bounds better than 2021. On 9/29/22, Ohtani flirted with his first NO-HITTER for 7 2/3 innings before being thwarted by an Oakland A's rookie. He is the FIRST player in HISTORY to strike out over 200 batters and hit 30+ home runs in the same season. His pitching record as October begins is 15-8; 2.33 ERA; 166 innings pitched; 1.01 WHIP with 216 strikeouts. He slammed 34 home runs, which falls short of his 46 in '21, but his average is up and he ended up with 95 RBI. He's batted .273 with an OPS of .875.He is the FIRST player in HISTORY to qualify for the 2022 season League Leaders in BOTH pitching and batting categories. He is in the Top 10 in many of them. In 2021, Ohtani made drop jaws all around the world Mr. Ohtani completed the GREATEST SEASON EVER by a single player in ANY sport. He received various awards including the Commissioner's Historic Achievement Award, the Silver Slugger Award, the Players Choice Award, (voted on by ALL MLB players) and the unanimous American League MVP.This young man makes history every time he takes the field. With baseball skills not displayed in over 100 years, since Babe Ruth was a starting pitcher and Major League Baseball's premiere home run hitter, Ohtani IS even better. He works hard to improve. He can run like the wind. He steals bases. He breaks records that were thought to be unbreakable. And not only is he having fun, he's got to be one of the most polite players in the world.Besides being the A.L. All Star starting pitcher and leadoff batter, Shohei hit 46 home runs, stole 26 bases and his 23rd was a steal of HOME. He was 9-2 on the mound as a starting pitcher. He's struck out over 150 batters. He scored over100 runs and knocked in 100. He had eight triples. He is the first 45 homer/25 steal/9 win player EVER, and has done things on a baseball diamond that will make you wish you had hit my Buy It Now button.
