Included with the charger is the 240V to 120V adapter. Adapter has a tiny crack in the black plastic, but near the ground prong, but is completely solid and it has no effect on the safety or usability. This charger can do 120V Level 1 Charging at 12A (1.44Kw) or 240V Level 2 Fast charging at 30A (7.2Kw). Adapter is included that allows it to be used in both applications. Manufactured for Nissan by Panasonic Corporation. Case included! Although the charger is rated at 30A @ 240V, a minimum of 40A breaker will be required for safe reliable and continuous operation. Because you are not supposed to load a breaker more than 80%. So a 40A breaker can handle 32A, which is perfect for this 30A rated charger. Do not run this unit on a 30A circuit or that breaker may trip intermittently. The unit can also be run on a 120V 15A or higher circuit in Level 1 mode with adapter. We stand behind our products with a 1 YEAR WARRANTY. If you have any issues with the charger failing within 1 year from original purchase date, we will at our discretion, repair, replace or refund you for the charger.
