It’s the tube that connects it to pack, but does not affect the look or function of the pro pack itself. It can easily be taped to keep it in place (I didn’t do so as I want to make sure you, the buyer, can see the exact condition that it is in.) Requires 3 AA batteries - NOT INCLUDED.
