Description: One (1) 2010 Monroe County Fair Service Troop T-shirt. The Monroe County Fair Service Troop is the second oldest service Troop in Michigan. In operation continuously since the 1948, the Troop’s mission is to provide assistance to the Fair Board, Staff, and event-goers. Scouts and Scouters live on site during Fair week and provide facility services such as picking up litter from the parking lots and grounds each morning, cleaning rest areas, facility set up, and whatever other tasks are needed to maintain the cleanliness and quality of the event. Members are comprised of youth and adults from the Monroe County, Michigan area. Images are screen printed in red on light heather grey fabric. Front image features a vertical triple stripe, the text “100 Years of Scouting,” an oval with a fleur-de-lis and the text “Service Troop.” Back image features the silhouettes of two Scouts raising an American flag, the text “2010 BSA Service Troop” and “Monroe County Fair.” Size: Large Chest: 42" Back Length (from neckline to hem): 27 1/2" Tag reads: “GILDAN Heavy Cotton,” "99% Cotton, 1% Polyester Preshrunk" Although the tag describes the fabric as heavy, it is more of a medium weight, but very durable, as these shirts take lots of abuse during Fair Week. Clean and from a smoke-free environment. Proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be returned to Service Troop1948 to help them continue to provide this experience for future Scouts. Scout's honor!
