It contains 1 ounce of .999% Silver. This coin has been certified, graded and encapsulated by PCGS, The Professional Coin Grading Service. PCGS is one of the most respected Third Party Grading Services and a world leading authority on coins. It has been graded as MS69. Since this first one in 2006, the US Mint has released other burnished Eagles. Starting with 2015, PCGS changed their grade designation for the burnished coins to SP for Specimen instead of the former designation, MS for Mint State. This coin was graded in 2006 before the designation change. This coin has no milkspots which are a concern with silver eagles.
