This most unusual Caribbean vacation souvenir features a carved wood "bas relief" book frame with an abstract face & geometric patterns beneath block letters that spell " Honduras" (see image). What is "unique" is that opening the sturdy hinged front cover reveals a beautiful oil painting that is mounted onto the interior back cover (see images). Depicted in dark earth tones is a serene mountainside landscape setting beneath the light of a full moon. The contemplative figure of an indigenous woman sits among abstract flowers and barren tree silhouettes (see images). A signature on the lower right reads as follows: RUDY '03 (see image).
