Description: This listing is for a 2001 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Quilt LPR9-Q Brazilian Rosewood guitar. Every bit as awesome as it looks in the pics. 8.0 lbs on my digital scale, so this on the lighter side for one of these guitars. Double Cream DiMarzio PAFs. Otherwise it is all original. Exceptional condition as you can see by the pics. There is a discoloration on the back of the where some tool-shed probably used a cheap guitar stand. Other than that, its extremely clean. COA and all the other paperwork is present, including the research designating this serial number as one of the Brazilian run. Condition is excellent. It plays incredibly. I don't really have much to say about this Les Paul. It is quite simply one of the most stunning LP's I have ever seen. The quilt is incredible and the fact that it has a Brazilian board is even more so. I'm sure if you are reading this and looking at this guitar, you are aware of what it is and the rarity. Gibson just did a run of R9's with a Brazilian board for $20k. This guitar blows them away and is FAR less. Visit Roadhouse Vintage for more info/pics. MANY MORE PICS AVAILABLE.
