IN 2001 THE FLORIDA MARLINS PLAYED AT PRO PLAYER STADIUM (FORMERLY JOE ROBBIE STADIUM, HOME OF THE NFL'S MIAMI DOLPHINS). THE TEAM WAS MANAGED BY JOHN BOLES AND HE WAS REPLACED DURING THE SEASON BY HALL OF FAMER TONY PEREZ. THE ROSTER INCLUDED ALL-STAR PITCHERS AJ BURNETT AND JOSH BECKETT, SLUGGER CLIFF FLOYD AND POPULAR PLAYERS LIKE DERREK LEE, PRESTON WILSON AND MIKE LOWELL. Originally made available for purchase over 20+ years ago to the general public, this commemorative book weighs about 12 ounces, measures 8 1/4" x 11" and has 96+ pages. It features a colorful image of eight different Marlins (Manager John Boles and several players including Floyd, Lowell, Lee, Alfonseca and others) wearing the Marlins home uniform of teal and white pinstripes trimmed in black. There is a a team logo, plus the team name at the top and 2001 Yearbook along the bottom of this mostly black cover. The back cover is a B&W and color full page ad for THE NEW VOLVO C70 CONVERTIBLE! The publication is a great vintage souvenir, it commemorates the ninth year of MARLINS Baseball in Miami, Florida and it's an official licensed product of Major League Baseball. It originally sold for $10.00, I think.it is still in Excellent, fully intact, unscored, unmarked, like-new condition. There are no signs of damage, use of handling.
