Description: This is a listing for a pair of 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" Advertising Recipe Cookbooks Booklets from METROPOLITAN LIFE INSURANCE. Each is called "Metropolitan Cook Book". The one with the green cover is dated 1925 and the other is from the same time period. The one with the black cover has great colored illustrations of some of the dishes that can be prepared on the front and back covers with glass and pottery dishes of the time, being the 1920s. I have provided some example pictures of some of the pages. The lady that collected this did so in the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's.
