Description: TWO Vintage 40's Modernist 3-D Gold Metal FLORAL Brooch Pins, 1 Signed JERAY . Both Pieces from my Grandmother's estate jewelry dating from 1920-1970. Unworn for 50+ years, stored in gift boxes, near Excellent Condition. Both Modernist Brooches are plated in a highly reflective, warm honey-colored coating and can also be worn as Pendants. The first, signed with a script "Jeray" maker's mark at center back of brooch, is 2 1/4" in diameter and sculpted in a geometric, repeating domed and decorated design. A few domes on this brooch have lightly worn plating at the highest point, but the mirror-like finish camouflages this. The second brooch is unsigned but similar to the first in color, size (2 3/8" diam.) and basic design ( a 7-section flower). This brooch is an intricate array of cut, twisted , and woven metalwork that is as beautiful on the front as it is on the back. The loop at the top of the pin could easily accommodate a chain for use as a pendant. Both rollover pin clasps are clean and secure. Please examine all Listing Photos to confirm fine condition and to appreciate the outstanding workmanship and rare, timeless beauty of these vintage brooches. They will be packaged and boxed carefully and shipped USPS First Class for protection. Please make your purchase thoughtfully, as returns are not available on vintage jewelry items. Thank you.
