Description: Vintage pair of matching butterfly specimen lamps. Each piece is made of four orange-barred sulphur butterflies mounted on branches and housed in lucite cases on pressed wood bases. Lamps require clip-on harps but they can easily be taken apart to add traditional harps, by temporarily removing socket. Dimensions: Full Height to socket 17 1/2". Base Length 6 1/2" x Width 6 1/2". Lucite Height 8 3/4" x Width 4 3/4" x Depth 4 3/4". Cord Length just over 8'. Weight: 5.4 lbs. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Light wear to lucite. Butterfly specimens are intact. Tarnish and discoloration to brass tubing along necks of both lamps. Light debris to interior from the loose fluffy grass at base. Wear and chipping to edges of both bases.
