Description: These two-piece vintage pottery mugs from Giovanni DeSimone are a charming addition to any collection. Made in Italy in 1965, they feature a mid-century modern style with a folk art fish theme. The mugs are decorated with colorful, hand-painted designs and have a glossy finish. The woman is with a handle holding grapes and the man mug is handless is holding a fish while smoking a pipe. Care instructions recommend hand washing only. Both mugs have a crack but they still make for a unique and eye-catching display piece. The lady and man design adds a touch of whimsy to these original, signed pieces. Unfortunately these both have a crack in the mug please refer to photos. You could apply a sealer which I have not. They don't leak.
