Description: This is a nice fossil slab with two large fossil leaves and one partial from the Eocene John Day formation found in Oregon. One leaf shows nice veination and is about 2.5 inches long on a 5X4 inch piece of matrix. There is a fern, possibly Metasequoia leaf of some type as well as a partial fern leaf. The back of the matrix also has large partial leaf. The cube is provided for size reference and measures 1 cm. Neither the cube nor the stand is part of the sale.
