Description: Found stored in a cabinet in the photographers estate. Unsco 4x5 safety film. This pack with two negatives was found stored in the photographers cabinet with other packets. This one is not numbered like most of them, and prior to 1945 our photographer worked with a different photographer not in his own studio, so I’m not sure if this is something he took after he opened his studio when he was doing photographs for the Phillies on a regular basis, or if he brought it from the previous studio. I’m estimating this one to be mid 40s I could be wrong, so feel free to send me a message if you know anything about the other person in the picture or the date. I have a whole bunch of Phillies packets from 1951 to 1953. Let me know if you’re looking for a certain team. Our photographer labeled all of the packets and this was a normal procedure, but often they were dated and it was always nice if they had a little more information. This is all you get, as they were found, and it’s gonna take a good photographer I would imagine to come close to restoring these, but it would certainly be rewarding if you could. Feel free to make an offer I don’t know what you can do with these. I know George was good at restoring photos but these look pretty rough A COA from the estate will come with your purchase. ONE OF A KIND NEGATIVE PACK from a very important estate in Florida!! George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for some parts of the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. Parts of the collection are being held together by the estate for exhibition purposes in the future. Holding a piece from this collection will be rare. Much of the contents from the estate were taken by the historical society before we were asked to go inside. The photographs we hold from this estate, include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for; from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice, but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs, some possibly from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of his war era photographs that we were able to save. The photos that are being offered here, were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. George did a lot of work for the newspapers so you'll see things pertaining to Clearwater Florida, much of it from the early 1950s. Being in the same location next to the Clearwater courthouse for over half a century, he was also entrusted with and gifted many photographs that go back to the late 1800s that were left behind and are currently in our collection. Some of those will be offered here as well. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!! This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate. And always, if you see something that you like, please make an offer!! Shipping will be by usps ground advantage unless otherwise requested. If you are buying multiple photos, shipping will be combined & you will be refunded the difference after your payments clear overnight.
