Based in Zhytomyr. The brigade was created as the 95th training center, and later reformed into a brigade. In the 1990s and 2000s, she participated in international exercises and peacekeeping missions under the auspices of the United Nations. In the spring of 2014, it was among the first to be raised to repel Russian aggression. Units of the brigade took part in the battles for Slovyansk, and later on in various areas of the front in the east of Ukraine. In July-August 2014, a unit of the brigade carried out a multi-kilometer raid through the rear of the enemy.
