Description: 2 Johann Haviland Bavarian Moss Rose 7 Piece Place Settings Plates Bowls & Cups. This is vintage Johann Haviland made in Bavaria in the 1970s. It appears these have never been used. The edges are gilded, the motif is roses, and the base color is white. Very nice. Note that the pattern was revived in the 2000s and sold under the Traditions brand moniker; pieces from the later run are marked "Thailand". The original 1970s china is finer - the cups are more sculpted and delicate than the modern cups are and a good way to know if what you are looking at is vintage or more recent.
