Description: Offered for sale is this 2-High Plains So Dakota Quill Flatteners or Pottery tool-Winston Hall collection, found between 1940's into the 1970's, the Halls helped the Smithsonian locate village sites when they were digging before the Dams were in place, Winston and his son helped as volunteers in excavating several village sites in the early 1950's, I purchased a large group of the collection before both Winston and Jo Hall passed away a few years ago.
