Description: Set of two salad plates featuring a garden setting with flowers, a flying bird and an outdoor table. Pattern: PERSIANA This pattern was used by Francis Morley & Co. (1845-1858). The pattern can be found on Mason's china, and it's notable that Morley purchased C.J. Mason's molds in 1852. Condition:Shiny glaze. It would be hard to detail every little nick or flaw. However, the plates are in pretty good condition with only minor issues, all of which can be seen in the photos. The one significant issue is on the second plate which has a glaze pop near the center - see photo, circled in RED. Both plates have minimal scratches from use - not bad. No cracks. There are no chips on the edges or top surface. Any crazing is hard to see. Measures approximately:7-7/8 inches diameter Bottoms are stamped underglaze:"Perisana" with a garden table Bottoms are impressed:F. Morley & Co. Shipping weight: 2.1 lbs
