Description: Up for sale is a lot of two (2) identical insulated plastic (not glass or ceramic) hot/cold mugs featuring the Great Seal of the Department of the Army, United States of America. These mugs were made by the Thermo-Serv company in the USA. (This company is still in business, with a plant in the Dallas, Texas area.) The Army Great Seal appears twice on each mug, on the side facing the user and also on the side facing away from the user. Each mug measures 4 inches tall. The maximal width (including the handle) is 4.25 inches. The diameter at the top is just under 3.25 inches. At the bottom, the diameter is 3.00 inches so there is a very slight taper. Each mug holds 8 ounces of fluid comfortably. I obtained these from the estate of a Vietnam Veteran who had quite a few US Army themed decorative and utilitarian household objects. I don't believe that Thermo-Serv makes this style of mug any longer. They are likely vintage. Please see above for full description of condition (which is excellent) and for photos. Sold as is.
