Signed and date '99' by the cover artist on the half title page without inscription or personalization. Although it only has Marion Zimmer Bradley's name on the cover and title page, this is actually the work of Adrienne Martine-Barnes (her name appears on the copyright along with Marion's). As far as I know, the last book written solely by Marion was The Heirs of Hammerfell (1989). Because of health problems everything after that was primarily written by other excellent (if not as well known) authors using her name. Recent editions of many of these books have added the other authors' names to give them the credit they deserve.
