1st Aviation brigade Vietnam shirt Direct sewn insignia with 2 sleeve patches

Description: 1st Aviation brigade Vietnam shirt Direct sewn insignia with 2 sleeve patches. I believe the shirt is an early PX bought shirt, before the government made /issued the O.D. tropical jungle shirts. BVD brand 100% cotton on the neck tag. has 2 wash tags in the neck also. No other markings found on it. size roughly 38 / 40. Has the name ; Sweinhagen , u.s.army,, pilot's wings, captain rank & transportation insignia machine sewn directly into the shirt !!!! rare to see. the black thread has faded out a bit to a gray color. both sleeve patches are U.S.A. made; subdued is marrow edged , color is a straight edge. sub is machine sewn on , the color is hand sewn on. small "hole" above color patch (see photo) , bottom front button period replaced with typical U.S. type , Also seen in that photo to the left looks like old black paint (tar ?) no clue). Besides the "hole" , NO other holes / rips / tears , ect. as you see it is how I got it. I was offered through an antique dealer 4 shirts from this man. 2 were as you see here (I'm keeping the other), look exact in ever form . Then another BVD shirt with only a color shoulder patch of the transportation school; No name ,no army tape , no rank , ect. just that one patch ( wasn't worth the price asked). the last was his tan summer "dress shirt" which I had no interest in at any cost (& missing insignia). I assume (?), to Vietnam , then to the school to teach , then back to the same unit in Vietnam = 2 tours. I never got around to doing any research on this guy BUT, can't be to hard; he was a Captain , pilot qualifiedand specially with that last name (no offence !). to bad no pocket patch added. Nice , Aviation unit Vietnam , Officer & a Pilot !!!!!! & just say NO !! to the upcoming Mask & lockdown restrictions !! no more b.s.
