1C RD Lincoln Memorial penny 1963-D

Description: This 1963 -D coin has a slight mint luster and when Comparing it to an online color grading chart I would say this coin is red in color. The L in Liberty is up against and somewhat onto the rim of the coin as you can see in the pictures. The date also has some oddities in it which makes me wonder if it is a ddo. The FG on the reverse is not quite right either and I have included a picture of that also. The close up pictures of the date, mint mark, and FG were taken with a coin scope so they are highly magnified. This coin was stored in a coin bank for 30+ years after which time it was moved to another container and stored for many more years. My wife was a waitress back in the 80s & 90s and she would put all of her pennies in a coin bank which is where this coin was stored for over 30 years. Many of the pennies that she brought home in her tips were brand new and were left as tips from customers change, some of which had just been broken out of new coin rolls at the check out counter others were much older. Many of those pennies still look as though they just came from the mint. I take pictures of these coins with my Iphone and a coin microscope in varying light and magnification in order to give an accurate view of the coin. No filters are used on any of my pictures. I compare the color of the coins to a coin grading site in an attempt to give an accurate color description.
