Description: This 19th century American bird whistle is made of yellow clay. It rests on a circular base and stands 5 3/4" tall. It is 6" from tail to beak and approximately 2 7/16" across the back. There are some minor edge flakes around the base and a 3/8" x 3/16" hole in the bird's breast. The hole appears to be in the making as the glazing goes down into it.
