Description: 19th Century Hand Painted Renaissance Lady Portrait Gilt Framed Porcelain Plaque Nice antique 19th century porcelain plaque. Hand painted with a portrait of a Renaissance lady with a large feathered hat over a black background. Gilt gesso & wood frame. Unmarked. Probably made in Germany, Austria, or France. Has some cracks, breaks, and losses to the frame and some of the gilding on the frame has been touched up, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches wide including the frame. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. EW
