Description: This exquisite octagonal tea caddy is a rare find from the late 19th century. Made by the renowned Chinese artist Yan Yongli for Dian Tong, this piece is crafted from pewter. The intricate design features hand-painted Eglomise glass panels that add a touch of elegance to this antique original. The tea caddy is a perfect addition to any Asian antiques collection and would make a great conversation starter. Very Good antique condition with no broken panels. Four of the eight panels have their images completely intact, two are 50% faded, and the remaining two have no discernable images left (see photos).
