Description: 19th Century GRANT / RAND RIB KEROSENE STAND LAMP, sky blue opaque glass font by Atterbury (Reference: Thuro - Oil Lamps I, p. 135, second from left.) Sandwich Blue Glass Stem, Sandwich brass connectors and single-step marble foot (Parallels Thuro - Oil Lamps I, p. 108, a.), and No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period E. Miller & Co. Coronet (lip) burner. Third quarter 19th century. Approx. 12" high to top of collar, 4 1/2" square foot. Nice condition: glass font and brass elements undamaged, glass stem with some discoloration and short scratches on one side (see last photo).
