Description: 19th C. Ashworth English Brown Transferware Plate Aesthetic Movement 7.5 Inch Plate B Pretty aesthetic influence plate. Measures 7.5 inch diameter. Florals and leaves with garden fence. Fan motif on border. Rich browns on cream. Rare pattern, a nice early English transferware plate. The mark is a crown and ribbon banner in underglaze brown. An early mark of Ashworth Bros. I believe from 1862-1890. No damage. Shows normal surface wear common in antique ironstone. The plate displays well! This is plate B. I do have another plate the same size in this pattern available as plate A in another listing if you wish to have a pair.
