Description: 1998 WCW Vintage White STING Wrestling Mask Nitro Stinger HARD PLASTIC This item is in good used condition. This is no longer mint. There are areas on the surface of the mask where you can see scuffs and rubs. These areas are visible in the form of black marks or scratches because the white painted surface of the mask gets scratched. This is common because of the fact that this mask was worn and used over the last 26 years. While there are marks on the mask, it is not in abused or terrible condition. The one area that is worth noting is the stress line and feint crack on the lower left chin line. This is visible in pics 7, 11, and 12. The stress mark is about 2 inches long while the actual crack is about 3/4 inches long. The crack does not extend to the edge. It starts towards the interior of the mask and runs outward to the edge but no all the way to the edge. In time and with flexing of the mask, the crack will extend to the edge due to the crease that is already there. The rest of the mask does not have any visible cracks or stress marks. This is pretty incredible because the string often tears through the mask at the two side holes. Many of these masks also tend to have cracks along the edges. This mask is in pretty solid shape. The interior of the mask, which is not painted has yellowing to it. There is a Made in China sticker on the inside of the mask along the chin line. This is such a great collectible piece that is worthy of being displayed. I always provide plenty of photos so you can assess its condition further. and compare it to others that are availalbe.
