Description: This is a 1998 Schylling Litho Metal / Tin Toys Storage Container Basket / Bucket with the beloved Madeline Characters by Ludwig Bemelmans from his series of Madeline children's books (the original Madeline was first published in 1939.) It is oval in shape and measures approx. 11 1/2 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches x 4 inches deep. It is used (from personal Madeline Collection) and there are a couple of tiny sized dents (one below the ‘1998’ where you read the copyright info & the other below “Barbara’ in same area) & some small scratches on the bottom inside & along the rim.
